Wunderkeks founders have launched their nonprofit organization The Sunday Afternoon Foundation. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

The Sunday Afternoon Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by Luis Gramajo and Hans Schrei, is excited to announce its official launch. The foundation aims to empower individuals, brands, and communities to create Safe Spaces, fostering inclusivity, dialogue, and personal growth.

By leveraging research, education, community development, and media production, the Sunday Afternoon Foundation seeks to make a positive social impact and contribute to a more united and understanding society.

Luis Gramajo and Hans Schrei, co-founders of the Sunday Afternoon Foundation, draw inspiration from their personal journey as immigrants and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Having left their home country of Guatemala for Austin, Texas, they found their Safe Space and experienced a transformative change in their perspective.

This realization led them to establish the Sunday Afternoon Foundation, with the belief that sharing the joy they found can create Safe Spaces for others to express their authentic selves.

One of the Sunday Afternoon Foundation’s key goals is to encourage purposeful commerce development, emphasizing the role of brands in shaping the cultural conversation. The foundation believes that brands, regardless of their size, have the power and responsibility to foster inclusivity and create Safe Spaces.

By partnering with brands, the Sunday Afternoon Foundation aims to champion acceptance and unity. It is a charitable project of The Giving Back Fund, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
