Is Van Halen back in the news? Didn’t I just see them in a commercial? #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the answers.

Yes, and yes as America’s Van Halen Experience Romeo Delight just shot a national commercial (entitled Rock Opera) for the company JG Wentworth; the American financial company.

They’re billed as Juliet Rapture. The video hit all TV networks across the US and social media last week and the response was immediate and positive.

Romeo Delight’s singer/songwriter Buddy Blanchard stated, “We were first contacted by Ganna Hertzog, who heard of us through creative director Daniel Gray who found about us through the Dave and Dave Unchained podcast.”

“When we arrived at the location for the shoot (the Broken Goblet in Bensalem, PA) it was a full-blown production.” Blanchard said that the video was finalized in three different versions.

Director Dan Hertzog remarked, “Romeo Delight (AKA Juliet Rapture) was such a perfect choice for our latest JG Wentworth campaign. From the beginning, we knew that anyone who performs with the energy and enthusiasm of David Lee Roth would have the right on-stage presence necessary to lead our Viking jam session. And boy did Buddy deliver, take after take! With less than a week to prepare, he and the band knocked it out of the park.”

“It was a great experience from start to finish. I’ve already had talent buyers contacting me, asking if we were the JG Wentworth-band! It’s a great testament to Van Halen’s legacy,” Blanchard added.
