The show won five awards, which included a win in the coveted “Best Drama Series” category. It was also honored for “Best Lead Actor in a Drama” for Sean Kanan, “Best Lead Actress in a Drama” for Carolyn Hennesy, “Best Supporting Actor in a Drama” for soap vet Tristan Rogers, and for “Best Guest Performer in a Drama” for Lilly Melgar.

“Studio City” was also nominated in the dramatic categories for “Best Writing,” “Best Directing,” and “Best Ensemble.” The following actors also scored Indie Series Awards nods for “Studio City”: Justin Torkildsen (“Best Supporting Actor”), Juliet Vega (“Best Supporting Actress”), and Natalie Burn (“Best Supporting Actress”). It was also up in the technical categories for “Best Cinematography” and “Best Editing.”
