The horror film “Slapface,” directed by Jeremiah Kipp, continues to soar in the box office. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

It stars August Maturo (“Girl Meets World”), Mirabelle Lee (Disney’s “Saturdays”), Libe Barer (“Sneaky Pete”), Emmy winner Mike Manning (“The Bay” and “This Is Us”), Lukas Hassel (“The Blacklist”), Emmy nominee Bianca D’Ambrosio (“The Bay” and “Call Jane”), Emmy winner Chiara D’Ambrosio (“The Bay” and “High Heat”), and Dan Hedaya (“Clueless” and “The Usual Suspects”), among others.

This Shudder film continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. “Slapface” has gone international, and it has cracked the Top 10 in Mexico with $2.3 million in sales on opening weekend.

The synopsis is: A boy Lucas (played by August Maturo) deals with the loss of his mother by creating a dangerous relationship with a monster rumored to live in the woods.
