Solo rock artist Wes Cage released his new single “The Wolf” via Pavement Entertainment. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.
The ballad was co-written with Breaking Benjamin’s Keith Wallen. It stands out lyrically, melodically, and vocally. It has a retro vibe to it where the listener can slightly recall the early musical work of Linkin Park.
From a lyrical standpoint, it is food for thought. It encourages hope, positivity and Cage showcases his sense of triumph. Cage acknowledged that “The Wolf” is about “the spiritual dichotomy of the higher and lower self,” and rightfully so.
The song’s music vide was produced by Glitter and Gold Media, and it was filmed at Le Grand Restaurant in Los Angeles, California. In this video, Cage is depicted contending with darkness while he is searching for the light.
The new direction that Wes Cage’s music is going sounds bright and promising. “The Wolf” is worth more than just a passing glance. Bravo.
