The movie was written and directed by Barry Jay, and it stars Jonny Beauchamp, Mike Manning, Ashleigh Murray, Sherri Shepherd, and Nick Theurer, among others.
The synopsis is: A young man named Alex (played by Jonny Beauchamp) deals with the loss of his abusive father by taking advice from a charming, dangerous stranger Shane (played by Mike Manning) who teaches him about life, sex, and fighting back.
This is Mike Manning like you’ve never seen him before! The acting performances all around are electric, and it sustains the viewer’s attention for its entire duration. The cast of actors fulfills the ensemble cardinal rule, where everyone bring something special to the project. “The Way Out” is edgy, and it garners two thumbs up.
