Actor Jesse Kove (“Cobra Kai”) guest starred in the Season 5 finale (and series finale) of “Magnum P.I.” #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.
In the 20th episode of Season 5, Kove proves that looks can be deceiving. His character first introduces himself to investigators Thomas Magnum (Jay Hernandez) and Juliet Higgins (Perdita Weeks) as “Dan,” the victim’s brother, when in reality he is the nefarious Neil McRae, and then they are off to chase him.
An exhilarating fight scene between Thomas and Neil takes place in an elevator, which is thrilling to watch, while Juliet looks for a faster way to get the ground level. Once they reach the ground level, Neil threatens the life of another woman (with a knife), and then he escapes in a vehicle.
The Verdict
Overall, it was neat to see Jesse Kove in “Magnum P.I.” because it is safe to say that he was born to action movies and series. The fight scenes were expertly shot and choreographed. Bravo.
