Ignacyo Matynia stars in “My Nightmare Landlord” Lifetime movie opposite Caroline Harris. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.

Dylan Vox directed the movie from a screenplay by Naomi L. Selfman.

Matynia portrays Drew, who is dashing “boy-next-door” landlord, who proves that looks can be deceiving. He has a newfound obsession for his tenant Lydia (played by Caroline Harris), and that leads him into chaotic madness.

Lydia has moved into this new apartment after she suffered a severe breakup from her longtime boyfriend, and she tends to find herself more isolated as her landlord is infatuated with her.

Matynia is not afraid to be raw, unflinching, and vulnerable in “My Nightmare Landlord.” His acting runs the gamut in this film since he plays the nefarious character well while also finding the humanity in him; he layers his emotions well, and takes viewers on a roller coaster of a ride.

Harris and Matynia have great chemistry together, and this film is worth more than just a passing glance. Caroline Harris is a revelation as Lydia. Veteran actress Willow Hale also makes a cameo as Helen, the neighbor. This Lifetime movie will certainly provide escapism. It garners a B+ rating.
