At a time when country radio is releasing overproduced, bro-country, bubblegum country-pop and lackluster tunes for singles, Harper Grace is pure soul with “Oh Say Can You See.” This is real storytelling and an authentic country tune that will resonate to anybody that has ever been bullied.
Harper Grace’s pristine vocals are worth more than just a passing glance on “Oh Say Can You See.” There is a rawness and an honesty to the melody and the lyrics. It garners an A rating.
Most recently, she performed it on “The Today Show” as part of the Citi Concert Series, and she was able to strike a chord with fans, viewers, and “Today Show” hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush. Her vocals were lilting and resonant. That rousing rendition may be seen here.
