“Christmas Keepsake” is a wonderful new original Great American Family holiday film, which will premiere on Saturday, November 11th, which coincides with Veterans Day. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

In “Christmas Keepsake,” a father (played by Daniel Lissing) bonds with his daughter (Ellie Stewart), and he stumbles upon an unexpected romance (Jillian Murray) while tracking down the original owner of a Christmas time capsule.

This father and daughter find the Christmas-themed time capsule buried in their backyard. They task themselves with finding its owner and the father might just find love along the way.

It stars Jillian Murray and Daniel Lissing in the lead roles, both of which have solid chemistry together. This is a sweet film that ought to be enjoyed for its simplicity and beauty. It is ideal for the whole family, and it has a good moral to it, which is food for thought. Colin Budds did a memorable job with its direction.

Daniel Lissing and Jillian Murray deliver engaging performances, while young actress Ellie Stewart proves that she is a star in the making as Grace. Just when one thought that Jillian Murray could not outdo herself from “A Brush with Christmas” from last year, she proves viewers wrong again. This may perhaps be Murray’s best holiday movie to date. It garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
