On August 31st, the new thriller “Secret Life of a Dominatrix,” starring Andrew Biernat and Mariel Molino premiered on Tubi. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.
Gabby Revilla Lugo directed this film from a screenplay by Dana Brawer. The synopsis is: When a young housewife becomes enthralled with the world of BDSM, she must keep it a secret from her suspicious husband or pay the consequences.
Mariel Molino is a strong female lead in this riveting and bumpy advance, which is a hot mess from start to finish. Molino has great chemistry with Andrew Biernat whose acting performance is quite versatile in this movie… Biernat is both the both of reason and at the same time, he proves that looks can be deceiving (he brings an element of mystery to this story from the start). Imani Vaughn-Jones is fabulous as Dee. Everybody in the cast is noteworthy in this project.
As a director and filmmaker Gabby Revilla Lugo, is not afraid to push the boundaries with this film; she deserves to be commended for her vision in bringing this story to life. It is filled with many twists and turns that will certainly keep the audience engaged. It is provocative, steamy, and edgy film, and it garners four out of five stars. Give it a watch. Well done.
