Siobhan Fallon Hogan is Oscar-worthy in her film “Shelter in Solitude,” which she stars in, and wrote (the screenplay). #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.

In this movie, a death row prisoner (played by Peter Macon) with 10 days left to live forms an unlikely bond with Val, a washed-up country singer turned prison guard.

Led by Siobhan Fallon Hogan, she gives this movie its beating heart. She is superb in every scene she is in, and she brings out the best in her cast members. Besides, how can anyone go wrong with a cast that consists of Robert Patrick and Peter Macon. Simply put… the film “Shelter in Solitude” is the little engine that could… It has it all… music, mystery, wit, drama, and suspense. It is worth more than just a passing glance, and it garners an A rating.
