Actress and executive producer Precious V. Mayes is Emmy-worthy in Season 7 of the hit series “The Bay,” created by Gregori J. Martin. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

Mayes’ acting work as Dr. Belinda Kenway in Season 7 was praised by this entertainment critic as a “revelation.” It felt like watching “Indoor Boys,” and Precious Mayes was our Carolee Carmello. “Belinda is like peeling an onion,” Mayes said. “It has been really fun to play her.”

She deserves to be a contender for the “Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series” Daytime Emmy category. Despite being a competitive field, as always, Mayes was able to make a strong impact with her work.

Most impressive was the fact that this marked her acting debut in “The Bay” yet she was able to deliver a memorable performance. She had solid chemistry alongside Kristos Andrews (Pete Garrett and Adam Kenway), as well as Karrueche Tran, who plays Vivian.
