Meredith Thomas is Emmy-worthy for her acting work in the movie “Dying to Win.” #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.

She deserves to be up for “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie” for her portrayal of the neurotic mother Diane in the Lifetime film “Dying to Win.”

The synopsis is: A gold medal gymnast gets caught in a web of lies when her mother and step-dad are found murdered in the family home.

For Diane, (played by Meredith Thomas), an obsessive single mother, winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing. She pushes her gold medal gymnast daughter into the social media spotlight to satisfy her own feelings of regret and failure; moreover, the consequences are deadly. It is an intense acting performance, and if one sees her Emmy reel, they ought to fasten their seatbelts and hold on tight. Viewers should allow Meredith Thomas to take them on a bumpy ride.

Meredith Thomas has consistently been one of the most underrated actresses in the contemporary acting world. She deserves to be a contender at the upcoming Emmy Awards.
