Actor Conner Floyd has been delivering powerhouse scenes in “The Young and The Restless” ever since he took over the role as Chance Chancellor. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

Floyd deserves to be a nominee at the 2023 Daytime Emmy Awards in the “Supporting Actor” category for playing Chance in the No. 1 daytime drama “The Young and The Restless.” His acting skills garnered rave reviews from his fans and critics alike, especially the PTSD storyline his character was given.

He was able to showcase many deep layers and multiple facets of Chance all while he was navigating his family dynamics with his wife and family. He was basically given heavy material (that were either sink or swim), and he certainly swam in those situations, and he was able to strike a chord with his hearts of his audience.

Floyd worked with some wonderful actors as his scene partners last year, and they all brought the best in each other. He was not afraid to be raw and vulnerable, and in the end, his vulnerability was the viewer’s reward. He should be recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) for nailing this intense PTSD storyline. Well done.
