Actor and striker Alan Klingbeil was recently just featured in Maurice Benard’s “MB State of Mind” podcast on mental health. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.
A three-time Emmy award-winning actor, Benard plays Sonny Corinthos on the ABC daytime drama “General Hospital.” Benard and Klingbeil spoke about his family, upbringing, and background, as well as his own mental health growing up, where Klingbeil revealed that he has struggled with ADHD. Klingbeil shared that he was in the Air Force, and that he loves to help people; his desire is to someday go into politics.
Klingbeil opened up about married life and his missionary work. Klingbeil discussed what being a “Power Slapper” is all about and how he got involved with it.
Maurice Benard got a little spiritual in this episode, and Benard opened up about his passion for boxing.

Alan Klingbeil recently competed in the 2024 Mister USA competition, where he represented the state of Mississippi.
Mister USA is an American beauty pageant, which is held annually, and the winner goes on to represent the United States in the Mister Universe competition.
