Psychic medium and social influencer Roy Tomko chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about his latest endeavors, and he opened up about how he first found out about his gift.
American author, speaker, and leader John C. Maxwell once said: “Dreams don’t work unless you do.” This quote applies to psychic medium Roy Tomko.
His past readings include Sasha Colby and Detox, among many others. On Monday, February 19, he will be reading Salina Estitties on his Instagram Live.
Tomko explained the commonalities and differences between a medium and a psychic. “Every medium is a psychic but not every psychic is a medium.” “I do both. I connect people with their loved ones, and I also help people with their guidance, as well as with their insights and trajectories,” he said.
“It is interesting because a lot of people come to me for love and guidance, in that area, as well as career and finance in the psychic realm. Then, when it comes to connecting, when they lose someone, they want to make sure that they are at peace,” he added.
Tomko revealed that the only two tools of divination that he uses are Oracle cards and pendulums. “I like my crystals but those are more for me,” he admitted. “They all have a different quality and a different healing process to them. It’s all pretty good.”
Realizing his gift at a young age
Tomko noted that he first realized that he had this gift at the age of three or four years old. “At that age, I was able to see a spirit, and I would always tell my parents about people that were around me. It was always really fun to be know that I was a little bit different.”
“As I grew up, I would always notice that the spirit realm would come and go as you go through adolescence. As we are growing, we realize that we are also learning and living a human experience. The spirit world comes and goes. It has been a fun journey all around; it has just been beautiful,” he acknowledged.
Daily motivations
Regarding his daily motivations, he remarked, “Knowing that I am helping people is a really big thing. Before I fully embarked on doing this, eight years ago, I was working in corporate America. Now, I have a sole purpose and I feel like I’m gravitating towards something that is giving people a healing experience, that’s extremely motivating.”
Future plans
On his future plans, he shared, “The future is so open and wide. I am hoping to continue to grow and help as many people over the world as I can.”
“I want to share my gift with as many people as I can, and just get the word out about who I am. I think that’s really important. We are in a very spiritually evolving time right now. Many people are opening up spiritually and also to the spirit realm,” he elaborated.
“Right now, it is really beautiful that people are just enjoying where things are going. I am really excited to be at this point in my life with where I am at,” he added.
“This is where I am looking to go and where I am headed. We will see where the journey takes us,” he foreshadowed. “I’m very positive about the future. I am always looking forward to new opportunities that are opening up. That is always a beautiful thing.”
Career-defining moments
On his career-defining moments, he shared, “During COVID, when things were really difficult for people, I started to figure out a way that I could help entertain and provide healing for people. I came up with an Instagram Live, which was called Reading the Queen and Reading the King, where I would read drag queens online on Instagram for fun. That was my defining moment, especially since it allowed me to entertain and heal people. I am also showing these strong, fierce queens in a vulnerable state, and they were very supportive and open to the entire concept. That went on for about two years straight.”
“I am actually reading a drag queen, Salina Estitties, this Monday on February 19. She will be fun. She just dropped a music video today as well and she has a lot of trajectories behind her. I’ve read her two years ago, and now, I am bringing her back again for another reading. It will be a good time.”
Stage of his life
On the title of the current chapter of his life, Tomko said, “Evolution.”
Superpower of choice
Tomko listed “teleportation” as his superpower of choice. “While I love traveling and I love to get around I would love to teleport, that would make things much easier,” he said.
Success
On his definition of the word success, Tomko said, “If I can go to bed at night and put my head and rest easily, I know that I’ve had a successful day and I’m in a successful mode. Going to bed feeling fulfilled and knowing that I’ve helped somebody along the way, that to me is success in itself. Peace of mind is success.”
Message for his fans
For his fans, he concluded, “When I was doing readings during the pandemic, my fans would call themselves the ‘Royalties’ and I am just very appreciative of the journey. If it weren’t for the fans and the fan support, my trajectory might have been a little different. I am always grateful and I acknowledge anyone that supports me on this journey, and some people have been there since the very beginning. I am always very admirable of the tenacity behind it.”
