American entrepreneur Sam Altman once said: “Young people willing to push super hard to make something happen are among the most powerful forces in the world.” Daryn Alexander is such an inspiring young individual. A little over four months ago, he described him as the “Underdog” of the competition, and rightfully so.
On being the runner-up winner of this first-ever male beauty pageant (as Mr. Florida), he exclaimed, “It felt amazing. I was truly happy for Cormac Murphy.” “I told him in his ear the second he won that it was well deserved, and I’m so proud of him,” he added.
Mister USA is a celebration of culture, diversity, beauty, intelligence and empowerment. They believe in the power of young leaders to make a difference in the world. It is not solely about outer beauty; it recognizes the inner beauty and intelligence of their contestants.
The winner of Mister USA (Cormac Murphy, who was Mr. New York) goes on to represent the United States in the Mister Universe competition. As the first runner-up, Daryn Alexander will go to Vietnam this November to represent the United States at the Mr. World 2024 competition. “It’s nothing short of an honor,” he admitted.
“I get to wear my country flag on my back and represent it. I will ensure I make my country proud,” he added.
He recalled the greatest experience with his fellow Mister USA contestants. “The best experience was just dancing with the guys on the party bus whenever we came back from trips,” he noted. “We hooked up music and danced the night away.”
For his fans, followers, and supporters, Alexander expressed, “Without the fans and supporters, I am absolutely nothing.” “They are the ones that give me the platform that I have and I am truly grateful for them,” he said, effusively.
