1164

Life is all about learning and growing to be where you want to be. And again, it all starts from somewhere, which includes a series of challenges that we outlive. Kyle Sullivan, the CEO of Unleash The Champ, a coaching company, has gone through this roller coaster of life that he decided to help others outlive their situations in 2020. Before then, he had a decade of organizational leadership and team development, especially as a pastor. With that experience, he learned a lot about dealing with people, emotional intelligence, among others. His business turned out victorious in its first month upon setup.

Here is what you can learn from this skilled leader and coach.

Purposing

It would help if you found your purpose, so you know what you are working for. It all starts with identifying your ‘championship run,’ as Kyle calls it. You could locate it by asking yourself what you want to become, what sacrifice you need to make to get there, and whether you are willing to do the work and make those sacrifices. That is how you can identify your vision. It would be best if you then set daily objectives that will build-up to the ultimate goal. People would focus too much on the end goal and do nothing they could do on a particular day.

Taking Action

Kyle advises on normalizing making moves. It would help if you did not fear taking steps in life as it will stagnate you. According to him, confidence is built by action and not the thought of the action. Sullivan has a strong belief that there is nothing like a wrong direction in life. It is all about finding your path during the different steps you take. According to him, a wrong turn builds up to success. Those whirls you take in life that are unsuccessful leave people with valuable lessons to find their direction. You should, therefore, always step out, and that is when you start your championship run.

Mindset

In any success path, you have to develop the right mindset to keep you on track. According to Kyle, you have to be you. Authenticity builds trust. Be humble and willing to learn when need be.

Again, you have to sell out for what you are doing. You have to be willing to do what it takes to be where you want. Helping people is like a drug to Kyle. According to him, that is what is imparted to him, and he always has the urge to help more people, deep in his soul.

Consistency

Success journey is full of potholes, but to ultimately get there, you need to be consistent. You have to be committed to the boring. It would help if you had a driving force. If you feel like pushing back, it would be best to find tips or surround yourself with people who will push you to be who you want to be. Kyle advises having people in your circle like coaches, mentors, friends, masterminds who can pull you forward.

The Power of Empathy

Kyle’s decade in leadership taught him to empathize__to lead people to action through his communication. He was initially charismatic loud, where he would take care of out loud. He then learned the importance of emotional intelligence. He realized that if you want to help people, you first capture their heart because they don’t care what you know until they know you can pin.

As a coach, and if you want to thrive in your business, it would be best to empathize with your clients. Empathy gives clients something to trust you on. You have to know how to get people to dream and inspire them to take the next appropriate step.
