Nine-time Olympic medalist and Australian swimmer Kyle Chalmers, OAM, launched the Chalmers Swim Academy alongside Ingeborg (“Ingie”) Loeyning. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.

In a post on Instagram, the new Chalmers Swim Academy remarked, “We are thrilled to announce the official launch of Chalmers Swim Academy – founded by Olympians with a mission to teach physical and mental skills for life and expert-led sessions fostering confidence in and out of water! Want to secure your spot? Fill out the link in our bio and express your interest! We will get back to you as soon as classes are ready to begin.”

According to their website, “Chalmers Swim Academy is founded with the goal of sharing our personal experiences as Olympic athletes. Their digital courses can be accessed from anywhere in the world. It provides authentic information about everything that has been a part of their journey in the sport. Their online platform allows people to interact with our learnings from 10+ years as international athletes in the form of video modules. They would love to book in private 1:1 calls to tailor the experience to people’s specific training needs.”

“Long term, our goal is to provide a location for in-person swimming lessons. Our focus will be water safety, confidence in water, transitioning into competitive swimming and private lessons for those who want to take their skills to the next level. They cannot wait to share their journey with you!” they exclaimed.
