Country radio queen Kelly Ford is headed back to New York. This time, she will be joining Connoisseur Media’s 103.1 The Wolf on Long Island. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

Ford will serve as the afternoon drive host broadcast live from The Wolf’s studios in Farmingdale.

She is heard nationally as the host of the syndicated “Backstage Country,” which she took over from show founder Shawn Parr back in February.

In addition, She previously hosted the Westwood One-syndicated Ty, Kelly & Chuck and was the first and only solo female morning show host in New York City Country radio on Audacy’s Country 94.7 (WNSH). She has won three CMA awards, an ACM Award, three Gracie Awards, and a Marconi.

Ford joins a talented lineup at 103.1 The Wolf, including Alexa Neo during middays and The Big D & Bubba Morning Show, enhancing the station’s weekday programming with her engaging storytelling and charismatic presence.

Patrick Shea, WWWF Program Director remarked, “We are incredibly excited to welcome Kelly Ford to Long Island and to 103.1 The Wolf. Her enthusiasm and dedication to country music are evident, and we know she will be a fantastic addition to our team. Our listeners are in for a real treat.”

In a post on social media, Kelly Ford revealed, “I have big, big news today. I’ll get straight to the point. I will continue to record ‘Backstage Country’ after I move back to New York to be on The Wolf in the afternoons on Long Island. I love country listeners in New York so much. I get you, I love you, I see you. It’s the thrill of a lifetime. I can’t wait for my first show in Jones Beach. I really couldn’t be happier.”
