Actor Josh Swickard of “General Hospital” spoke about his new movie “A Hollywood Christmas.” He also opened up about working with directors Alex Ranarivelo and Shaun Paul Piccinino.

“Both are class act directors,” Swickard said. “Every director is different. I’ve learned so many different things from them for different reasons. Both are dear friends and all work for the same production company, ESX. We’ve all become family.”

His upcoming film “A Hollywood Christmas” was directed by Ranarivelo. It is a movie about making movies as much as it is a Christmas film. “It is one of those movies inside of a movie, which is fun but also kind of confusing because you have two boom operators and two directors walking around,” Swickard said.

“It was a super relaxed shoot, pretty much one location for three weeks, so I really enjoyed the process with them,” Swickard added.

Shaun Paul Piccinino directed Swickard in the following movies: “Roped,” “A California Christmas” and “A California Christmas: City Lights.”

Josh Swickard stars as Detective Harrison Chase on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital.”
