Jordi Vilasuso is headed to the daytime drama series ‘The Bay’

Emmy award-winning actor Jordi Vilasuso is headed to “The Bay,” which was created by Gregori J. Martin. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

Vilasuso is known for his acting work on such daytime soap operas as “The Young and The Restless,” “All My Children,” “Guiding Light,” and “Days of Our Lives.” Now, he gets to add the 23-time Emmy award-winning series “The Bay” to his filmography resume.

He will be joining the cast as series regular Justin Ramos. This role was previously played by David Lago, which was last seen in the fifth season of the show. The announcement was officially made today while at the Samantha’s Friends annual fundraiser in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Presently, “The Bay” is nominated for five 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards, which include a nod in the competitive “Outstanding Drama Series” category. The 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards will be aired on CBS on June 7.

“The Bay” follows the cursed residents of Bay City whose lives are riddled with scandals and secrets.
