Erik Fellows had a major reason to be proud. He won the 2022 Indie Series Award for “Lead Actor — Drama” in a tie with Kristos Andrews of “The Bay.”
Fellows won for his transformative acting performance as Bobby, the ex-con in the digital drama series “Purgatory.”
“I want to post this with extreme gratitude and appreciation to all the absolute love and support that you @thepowerjournalist showed and wrote about me and my character’s journey throughout my series Purgatory Series! You believed in Bobby and allowed your readers a chance to learn more about me and Bobby! We both are forever grateful for this,” he exclaimed in a post on Instagram.
Fellows went on to thank his parents Adeline (mother) and Jim Fellows (father) for giving him love and making sure that he chased his dreams. “I love you with all of my soul,” he said.
He thanked the Indies Series Awards and the voters for this “incredible award.” “Special thanks to Susan Bernhardt and Roger Newcomb for giving me this moment in time. Lastly, I would like to take a bow to my amazing fans and the love always and to my cast and crew and entire production team for all of your hard work and efforts! The long hours and the tireless efforts to deliver this series! I’m humbled by this achievement,” he remarked, effusively.
