his year the Los Angeles Marathon drew more then 24,000 making it the 4th largest marathon in the country. Elisha Barno of Kenya beat out his teamate Daniel Limo who prevoiusly won the Marathon in 2015. Barno crossed the finish line in Santa Monica at 2:11:53 (2 hours, 11 minutes, 53 seconds)
His female teammate Hellen Jepkurgat crossed the finish line at 2:34:23 winnning the Woman division against her teammate Jane Kibii at 2:36:14.
John Pickhaver at 2:36:14 of the United States came in at 10th with a time of 2:23:27.
