Boxing royalty Muhammad Ali’s former wife and the mother of four of Ali’s children, Dr. Khalilah Camacho-Ali, partnered with her bodyguard Adriano “Bubba” Almony at his Second annual Toy Drive giveaway event in Salisbury, Maryland at the Hampton Inn hotel this past Friday evening, December 23rd.
Dr. Khalilah Ali brought many toys and a strong message to always be kind and pray every day! The turnout was a capacity turnout. The event was able to help approximately 200 people total, including families and young people in need for the holiday. The event included free toys, free food, gifts, a live DJ, a special guest speaker, Dr. Khalilah Ali, haircuts, and money and special prize giveaways.
Bubba sends a special thank you to everyone who donated toys, gifts and those who volunteered their time! US Navy Veteran David Childs and ring announcer Henry Jones received The Presidential Lifetime achievement award at the event.
During Dr. Ali’s visit to the Eastern shore, Bubba and Dr. Ali also visited first responders to donate meals and autographed collectible photos, and for several days went out to feed the less fortunate, pass out blankets and other essentials.
