On April 13 and 14, the Star Stuck fan event took place in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, which has an “Off… To the Races” theme to it. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.
It featured Emmy award-winning actor Eric Martsolf (Brady Black), Emmy nominees Emily O’Brien (who plays the roles of Gwen and Theresa), Stacy Haiduk (Susan and Kristen) and Arianne “Ari” Zucker (Nicole), Paul Telfer (Xander), as well as Shawn Christian, who formerly played doctor Daniel Jonas on the show.
This structured event was held at the Holiday Inn Hotel at Hasbrouck Heights (Meadowlands) in New Jersey.
The Saturday portion included breakfast and brunch at the hotel, where the actors signed autographs, took photos, and mixed and mingled with the fans. Later in the day, that evening, was a separate event at the Meadowlands Racetrack with dinner, horse racing, and a cash bar.
On the following day, Sunday, April 14, there was a farewell brunch at the hotel (for three hours) with the six actors.
“It feels great to be here. Getting to see the fans is stupendous,” Eric Martsolf said. “It is always amazing to spend time with the fans,” Ari Zucker admitted.
“This event will have a lot of laughter and love,” Shawn Christian said, and rightfully so. “Also, someone is going to be dancing,” Haiduk and Zucker foreshadowed. “I’m smiling, “Haiduk said with a sweet laugh.
For young and aspiring actors, Haiduk and Zucker jokingly laughed, “Don’t do it.”
All the actors concluded by expressing their appreciation for the fans that gathered in New Jersey. “We are very grateful for all of the support,” Telfer said. “Not only do they support us when we are on the show, but when we are not on the show as well. We always feel that everybody wants the best for us, and I think that does make a difference,” Telfer elaborated.
“The fans do make a difference,” all six actors concurred.
“It was a great event with some great people,” exclaimed Michelle Lebowitz, fan and attendee.
“This was a phenomenal Starstruck weekend,” exclaimed Penny Douskalis. “I had a blast with the Days of Our Lives actors. It was hands down the greatest event I had attended in a while.”
