For “Baywatch” actor David Chokachi, “Love is in the Air.” He has embarked on a positive journey of hope and second chances. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.
Chokachi remarked in a post on social media, “On a special HSNT & @wingsofrescue_official flight from Texas to Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, and Pennsylvania, we witnessed something truly magical – the power of love, compassion, and the incredible bond we share with our furry friends and our community.”
“Hundreds of deserving pets were given a second chance at life as they flew to new shelters, homes and brighter futures,” Chokachi said.
Chokachi continued, “These pets have been waiting for their moment – all of them hoping for that life-changing opportunity in overcrowded shelter here in North Texas & Houston. And thanks to the incredible team of staff, volunteers, transporters, and shelters, this “Love is in the Air” flight mission made that dream a reality.”
“To all the receiving shelters who had open kennel space for these pets, to the and to Wings of Rescue who made it all possible – thank you. You are all part of a truly heartwarming journey, and because of you, countless lives have been changed,” he acknowledged.
“We had some special guests who assisted loading on the tarmac— @tommyhabeeb —best known for his role in the shows To the Rescue and Cheaters, and @therealdavidchokachi— best known for his role in Baywatch and numerous movies, for getting their hands dirty and loading planes for the weekend. It takes a village,” Chokachi elaborated.
“Love truly is in the air,” Chokachi underscored, and rightfully so.
Most recently, Chokachi starred in the Hulu docu-series “After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun,” which was directed by Matthew “Matt” Felker.
