Danica McKellar chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about her new holiday film “Christmas at the Drive-In.”

It premieres on Friday, November 25 at 8 p.m. EST on Great American Family, and she stars opposite Neal Bledsoe. There will be an encore presentation on Saturday, November 26 at 6 p.m. EST/3 p.m. PST.

In this movie, a property lawyer works to prove that her town’s Drive-In Theater, a local institution, is not closed down during the holidays, finding romance with the very person who is trying to sell the property.

“I’m thrilled to be executive producing and starring in my very first holiday movie for Great American Family, ‘Christmas at the Drive-In’,” she said. “When I was a kid, I was on the very nostalgic show, ‘The Wonder Years‚’ and maybe that’s why I love nostalgia so much, and I think my fans do, too.”

“‘Christmas at the Drive-In’ goes back in time as an old-fashioned drive-in faces demolition by a big-city developer, and my character becomes determined to save it. My developer? The owner of the drive-in, who just so happens to be my old high school sweetheart, played by Neal Bledsoe.”

“It’s a heartwarming, entertaining story filled with that nostalgic Christmassy feeling we all love so much. And I’ll be live tweeting for it as well,” she exclaimed.
