Charlie Murphy, Eddie Murphy’s older brother, a very accomplished comedian, actor and stand up has dies this morning.
According to representative of Charlie he was diagnosed with leukemia and has been undergoing Chemo therapy for a while now, as for the family they are in shock because they were under the impression that he was getting better.
Charlie has built a career from making the world laugh. He has been featured in many projects such as countless skits with Dave Chappelle, Lottery Ticket and also wrote the Movie “Norbit” for his brother Eddie Murphy.
He will definitely be missed and his legacy will forever be left in our hearts. Charlie’s wife, Tisha Taylor Murphy, died in 2009 from cervical cancer. Charlie leaves behind 2 children.
He died at the age of 57.
