Actor, content creator, and fitness professional Hunter Hobbs chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about Mister USA 2024, and his latest endeavors.
Mister USA is an American beauty pageant, which is held annually, and the winner goes on to represent the United States in the Mister Universe competition. It is a celebration of culture, diversity, beauty, intelligence and empowerment. They believe in the power of young leaders to make a difference in the world. It is not solely about outer beauty; it recognizes the inner beauty and intelligence of their contestants.
“I am excited for Mister USA,” Hobbs admitted. “It is good motivation to get in even better shape, especially for August. It will be a good time to see all those guys up there.”
The 2024 Mister USA competition will be held on August 11, 2024 in Hollywood. The winner of Mister USA will subsequently represent USA at “Mister Universe” on September 28, 2024 at The Biltmore in Los Angeles, California.
“I am in my 30’s now, and I have been going through a pretty rough period,” he shared. “When you hit 30, you realize that life is pretty easy in your 20’s. Honestly, no problems whatsoever. During the last year, especially when I hit 30, I had all of these things coming at me. Luckily, the mindset and the discipline that I’ve built when I was in my 20’s has really helped me.”
“I want to send the message onstage that you can be humble, and you can be a good person without letting others down,” he acknowledged.
“My past with transformations and challenges has been a great motivator, so I want to use this as a motivation not only physically but mentally too,” he noted. “This is like a comeback for me. I am going to give it my all, no matter what happens on the stage. I am going to come back a better person, and I am excited to get back to that, and show the stage what I can do with that.”
On the best thing about being his age right now, Hobbs said, “I feel the same physically and mentally, even though I have more responsibilities now. I am thinking more about the future, and in the long-term doing something sustainable. I am figuring out what I want to do and who I want to be.”
“Lately, he shared that he has been doing some romance novel photo shoots,” he said. “I’ve got one in the end of May, so that’s another motivation to go hard in the gym. That will be fun.”
Logan Mandeville, who is representing West Virginia in Mister USA remarked about Hunter Hobbs, “I had met Hunter at a modeling event, and he is a really cool and genuine guy! His creativity is off the charts!”
