Hunter Hobbs, actor, fitness professional and social media sensation, chatted about his latest endeavors.
Margaret Mead once said: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” This quote applies to Hunter Hobbs.
He was a part of “Trapped By My Sugar Daddy” on Lifetime, which was directed by Lindsay Hartley, and it stars James Hyde. “It was awesome, that was a fun time. The original name was ‘Prisoner of Love,’ and then the title got changed. It was fun though,” he said.
“Working with Lindsay Harley was great, and James is awesome too. I’ve got to see James a couple of times on set,” he said. “Oklahoma is booming when it comes to acting projects. It’s a good time to be involved in that in Oklahoma, and I’ve been taking improv as well so that’s a fun creative outlet.”
Hobbs is also a part of “The Story Behind the Story,” which stars Mike Rowe. “In the second season, I was a main character where I played a war veteran from Vietnam, and that turned out really well,” he admitted.
On his latest projects, he shared, “Content creation is going good. I’ve just started to get back into it. Last year, I worked on a big workout project, and now, I am working more on training clients on-on-one on a personal level. I am trying to fit some content in there as well.”
He noted that he enjoyed doing the Cold Plunge in his house. “Oklahoma weather is so weird since it didn’t snow much this year and now it’s in the 60’s. I just can’t rely on the natural weather. I am still taking cold showers every day. Hopefully, it will be colder in the next month.”
“I am also doing a three or fourth-month bulk and I am documenting that every single day for four days and then I am going to shred back down. I think that’s going to be a fun project to see,” he said.
On the title of the current chapter of his life, Hobbs said, “New Beginnings.” “I am re-starting on what I really want to do,” he said. “I’m finding a balance between doing fitness and my passion for creating videos.”
Regarding his definition of success, he said, “I just really want to be happy and do what I love to do. As long as I am financially secure and being able to pay my mortgage. I also enjoy hanging out with positive people such as Calvin and Cory Boling. We are always motivating each other to keep hitting goals and keep working hard.”
His favorite movies include “Avatar: The Way of Water” and “Twins” with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito, as well as “Top Gun: Maverick.”
He revealed that he enjoyed “The White Lotus” on HBO Max due to its “cool concept.” His favorite cheat meal is “pizza” and his favorite motto to live by is “the way you do one thing is the way you do everything.” “That’s one of my favorite things and I try to apply that to every aspect of my life,” he said.
Hobbs took some time to answer some “Rapid Fire” questions.
