Carson Teagarden talks latest endeavors, future plans, turning 20, and the digital age

Fitness coach and social influencer Carson Teagarden chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about his latest endeavors.

Byron Pulsifer once said: “Imagine, dream, and believe in yourself. With determination and belief, you will be surprised at what you accomplish.” This quote applies to Carson Teagarden.

In his personal life, Teagarden just turned 20 years old today, and he is known for his faith and for putting God first.

Teagarden on visiting and filming content in New York

“Recently, I have been able to travel a lot,” he admitted, prior to noting that New York is one of his favorite places to visit. “I got some great content in New York, and I met some cool people there,” he said.

“I filmed a lot of videos in New York, and I will post more of them up on my socials,” he foreshadowed.

Teagarden on his fitness journey

On his fitness journey, he said, “It has been going well. I’m just grinding, working each day, trying to get better.”

Teagarden on James Downie and ‘The Last Front’ premiere in New York

He shared the story of how he wound up at a premiere for “The Last Front” in New York, especially how he met British actor James Downie and trained with him in Manhattan. “We became friends instantly, we filmed our videos, and we had fun,” Teagarden said. “James was even able to tell his director about me and my videos, and they put me on the red carpet as one of the influencers.”

“It’s a military and warm movie and it was super good,” Teagardeb admitted. “It was super clean and super family friendly. I like those wartime action movies. Staying a few extra days in New York for that movie premiere was definitely worth it; it was a great experience.”

Teagarden on the lessons learned from his fitness journey in the digital age

On the lessons learned from this journey in the digital age, he said, “My drive and my goals are definitely different from most people but that is what sets me apart, and that’s what people enjoy about me. Ever since I started my fitness program, I’ve learned more about who I am… I found my crowd, and I’ve enjoyed every step of what I have been doing especially since I love what I do so much.”

He shared that lately, he has been focusing more on the business side of the industry. “My goal is to hit one million subscribes this year on YouTube,” he said. “We will make some good videos and get some good content going hopefully. I have some great ideas that I want to try out. I am excited to see what happens.”

“Getting the 100K plaque from YouTube was pretty awesome. I loved opening that. It felt like fulfilling a childhood dream,” he admitted.

Stage of his life

On the title of the current chapter of his life, Teagarden revealed, “Maturity.”

“I am growing up and I starting to own my business,” he said. “It is definitely a whole new chapter.”

“I want to keep doing what I’m doing, and I am just trying to get better,” he added.

Superpower of choice

When asked if he were to have any superpower, he responded, “I always loved The Flash.” I like his super speed especially since I enjoy running. I am always on the go. I like speed and getting things done.”

Favorite motto to live by

On his favorite motto to live by, Teagarden said, “Everything comes from my faith, so I am putting God first daily.”

Teagarden praised fellow fitness influencer William Andrew Richardson for being a “cool dude,” especially since they are doing similar things in fitness and coaching business.

“William has been very helpful. I’ve been able to ask him questions, and he has been able to guide me (since he is older). William has always been there for me,” he acknowledged.

Best thing about being his age

On the best thing about being his age, Teagarden shared, “At least in my position, I am still young and I’m still trying to figure things out. I am living at home, and I don’t have that many expenses. I am trying to grow my business. I am full of energy and excited with a lot of ambitions.”

Teagarden on success

“Some of the goals and dreams that I am having are starting to come true, and that’s success. I’m seeing some of those come to fruition, and now we are hitting new goals that I never thought would be possible. Success is basically achieving things in my mind that I want to accomplish.”

A proud moment was when a follower recognized Teagarden at Sequoia National Forest in California for all his fitness content on Instagram. “That felt like a success to me as well, especially when your hard work is appreciated and recognized,” he said.

Fans, followers, and supporters

For his fans, followers, and supporters, Teagarden expressed, “It takes a village. It means so much to me that they would take the time out of their day to view my content or to support me financially. The fact that they are there for me and willing to help me achieve my goals is really gratifying.”

“The fans are helping me live out my dream, and I want to give back to them by making great videos and content for them. I appreciate all that the fans do for me,” he concluded.
