Actor and musician Leonardo Cecchi was recently featured on Power 98.5 Satellite Radio about his latest projects. #Powerjournalist has the scoop.
He began acting, singing, and dancing in youth theatre productions at the young age of six. During his sophomore year, a casting director from Disney Italy went scouting at that high school, and soon after, by some miracle, he was cast as the lead of the hit Disney TV show “Alex & Co.,” his first onscreen role.
Since then, Cecchi appeared in four feature films, and three TV series, one of which was Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Stories,” one theatrical production, and one original short movie which he wrote, directed, and acted.
His most recent work is “A Christmas Mystery,” a Warner Bros. movie that came out on November 24 on HBO Max, which was directed by Alex Ranarivelo.
He revealed that he will be doing a musical soon. “I see it as a great opportunity, so it’s going to be really cool and really fun,” he said.
From his Disney days as the lead of the hit TV show “Alex & Co.,” to his debut as a stage performer in the title role of the musical “Aladdin,” to playing the engineer that helped Mr. Lamborghini create the iconic 350 GT in the feature film “Lamborghini: The Legend,” to playing a son who lost faith in his father in the HBO Max feature film A Christmas Mystery, Leonardo Cecchi is quickly making a name for himself across all genres as a rising star.
Cecchi was spotlighted by acclaimed PR and radio vet Steven Cuoco of “Live on Air with Steven Cuoco.” It is a weekday syndicated satellite radio program produced and hosted by Steven Cuoco. The radio program is heard in 200 countries. Cecchi’s informed conversation with Steven Cuoco may be heard on Spotify below.
