On Saturday, June 29th, “A Mile for Johnny” will take place in loving memory of slain “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor at 11 a.m. at North Hollywood Park.
“If you or anyone you know has been affected by violent crime in Los Angeles, this fight is for you. Join us in walking a mile in honor of Johnny and all past and future victims. Let’s continue to make noise. Enough is enough,” the message noted.
“We’ll continue making noise until justice is served. Join us for A Mile for Johnny. We will walk/run his daily trail together in NoHo,” they posted, and rightfully so.
On Wednesday, June 12th, a rally was held in memory Johnny Wactor in downtown Los Angeles, who was killed tragically on May 25th as a result of attempted catalytic converter theft. He was 37 years old.
Wactor was known for portraying Brando Corbin on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital” for two years. This rally/walk in his memory took place from Hope Street (where he was killed) and people marched all the way to LA’s City Hall. It was organized by Micah Joe Parker and Jeremy Luke.
