Josh Seiter is the perennial “King of Clout,” and he has never stopped. The social media landscape has now become a part of his kingdom. “The Bachelorette” alum chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about his latest digital milestones, which include achieving and surpassing a quarter-billion online views.

Seiter is not afraid to push the envelope. He made international headlines again this month when he revealed he fake transitioned to expose the hypocrisy and absurdity of gender ideology.

“It’s great that so many people find my videos entertaining and fun, and that some even find them triggering,” he said. “I love provoking thoughtful discussion, which is why I’ve always pushed the boundaries online.”

“When I got my first video with a million views I was in shock,” he admitted. “By my tenth video with a million I was kind of getting used to it, and now almost all of my videos on Instagram and X have millions of views each.”

“It’s a cool feeling, but it definitely isn’t a recipe for happiness. I try to always stay grounded so I’m not hinging my happiness on social media or fan engagement, which is always ephemeral,” he added.

He is flattered that he continues to be the online “King of Clout.” “It seems like anything I post these days does well, but instead of posting more, I tend to post less,” he noted.

“I don’t feel the need to get views or gain other people’s approval. If I post something now, it’s because I feel strongly about it. And hopefully what I do post resonates with people on a deeper level than just surface laughs or knee slaps,” he elaborated.

“I can now say that the’King of Clout’ is a moniker I deserve,” he admitted. “I used to shy away from it, but after my social experiment I think it’s apt. I noticed recently that Wikipedia calls me a provocateur, and I think both terms are apropos.”

“I have always tried to push the envelope and stimulate debate and discussion online, and I think these titles are well-deserved,” he stated.

On his “fake” transition, he remarked, “I conducted a fake transition over the last six months because the idea that men can self-identify into women’s spaces is odious and anathema to women’s rights.”

“The medical guidelines and literature essentially posit that anyone can articulate a gender identity that differs from their biological sex, making them ‘trans.’ They are then automatically and instantly entitled to women’s spaces,” he said.

“I think this kind of patriarchy and male hegemony (usually due to mental illness) needs to be eliminated from public life. Women deserve spaces free from biological men that are confused or going through a psychotic break. The fact I even need to say that or do an experiment to prove it is regrettable,” he elaborated.

Regarding his proudest professional moments, Seiter shared, “I would say my proudest moment is my interview with Sall Grover, one of the most prominent women’s rights activists alive. Another proud moment was when J.K. Rowling retweeted my interview/reveal with Alex Stein.”

Seiter acknowledged that he has “zero regrets about exposing gender ideology,” and rightfully so. “The only regret I’d have is if it hadn’t been effective, but that wasn’t the case,” he said.

“To all the haters and fans that helped me reach a quarter billion views, I want to say thank you for following my journey, and I hope you found it enlightening. Let’s do what we need to in order to keep women’s spaces free from men,” he elaborated.

For his fans and supporters, he underscored, “It’s always important to have compassion for people going through mental illness.”

“Compassion means not affirming their delusions but disabusing them of the delusions,” he said. “We don’t give schizophrenic men guns to fight off the CIA that’s following them. We don’t give anorexic men liposuction because they are ‘fat.’ And we don’t tell depressed people they are hopeless, and the world does suck.”

“Instead, we work on reorganizing their erroneous and unhealthy thoughts into healthy thoughts grounded into reality,” he acknowledged.

That’s the kind of compassion we need to have for trans individuals. Compassion isn’t enabling delusions, it’s eliminating them,” Seiter concluded.
