Elvir Aljicevic, who is representing Sweden, chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about competing in the upcoming 2024 Mister Universe competition this December.
Elvir is a man of many talents: actor, model, entrepreneur, brand ambassador, and content creator.
Theodore Roosevelt once said: “Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground.” This quote applies to Elvir Aljicevic.
On being a part of Mister Universe, he said, “It feels amazing and I’m glad to be back on stage and do what my passion is.”
Repping Sweden
The Mister Universe finals will be held from December 15th to the 22nd in Los Angeles, California. “Representing a country where I’ve been raised and lived all my life feels incredible, and I can’t wait to make everyone proud. I’m originally from Montenegro but I live in Sweden,” he revealed.
Daily motivations
On his daily motivations, he shared, “My family motivates me, i see how hard my parents work everyday and that motivates me to make sure to retire my parents and make a good life for my family. My priority is family and the loved ones, this is for them.”
“The goal is to win and that’s what we are going for. I’m looking forward to be on the stage,” he added.
Future plans
On his future plans, he shared, “My plans for the future is to do commercials and acting. On the side, I’ll invest in real estate too.”
The digital age
He opened up about being a part of the digital age. “It feels good, with my platforms over 12 million followers,” he said. “I can say that I’m happy to share positive things on social media and inspire people and my followers to never give up on their dreams.”
For young and aspiring actors, models and content creators, he said, “My advice for them is, ‘if they can see it and have the courage to speak it, it will happen’.”
Success
Regarding his definition of success, he said, “The word success for me means ‘life.’ To wake up every morning healthy and enjoy one more day of your life, that’s already success for me. Keep on doing what you love to do and never give up on your dreams.”
Message for his fans and supporters
For his fans and supporters, Aljicevic expressed, “To all my fans and supporters, I would love to say ‘Thank you for being there for me since day one,’ because of you all, I’ll be on one of the biggest stage in the world representing Sweden in the 2024 Mister Universe.”
“I couldn’t do this without all my fans and the amazing support I get from everyone. I don’t know how to describe how thankful I am for this and for the all support I get. All love to everyone who is supporting me and been there since day one,” he concluded.
