Celebrity bodyguard Bubba Almony has a major reason to be proud. He is headed to the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

Three-time national martial arts champion Adriano “Bubba” Almony will be inducted into the prestigious USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, November 18 at the 47th annual red carpet GALA event at 6 p.m. alongside Royal Highness Queen Diambi Kabatusuila, the traditional Queen of the Bakwa Luntu people of the Kingdom of Luba, located in the southern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

One of Bubba’s most notable nominations came from Mike Tyson’s HOF boxing trainer, Aaron Snowell, who stated that Bubba is a Hall of Fame person, a great bodyguard and a champion. Bubba has trained in martial arts since around the age of nine years old, holds an undefeated record in national tournaments and has body-guarded one of the greatest female martial artists ever, Muhammad Ali’s former wife, a HOF inductee and ninth degree black belt who studied under Bruce Lee.

The USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame was established in 1976. This renowned Hall of Fame was founded by Grandmaster Dr. Jim Thomas, a 10th degree grand master recognized as one of twenty worldwide. Starting at 8 a.m., the HOF event will have free martial arts seminars and classes throughout the day for those attending the ceremony.
