Sean Wepener of “Magic Men Australia” chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about starring in two Australian reality TV shows “FBoy Island Australia” and “Heartbreak Island.”

‘FBoy Island Australia’

Most recently, he was on “FBoy Island Australia,” which is available to stream on the Australian streaming service Binge. “Initially, I wasn’t sure how the media or the audience at home would take it but the way it has gone on, it is not that bad. It is a very lighthearted show and most of the reviews have been quite positive, in the fact that it’s actually entertaining.”

“FBoy Island Australia” is where three smart, strong women move to a tropical paradise, joined by 24 men: 12 self-proclaimed “Nice Guys” looking for love and 12 self-proclaimed “fboys,” or womanizers, that are there to compete for cold, hard cash; however, the women have no clue who is who. “The final episode was released last Monday,” he said.

“There were a lot of funny skits, and it has come across well,” he said. “I’m an entertainer and a performer now, so it all ties in. I’m excited and I want to make it bigger. This won’t be my last TV show. I am putting my goals on the line and trying to reach what I can.”

“It was a good experience,” he admitted. This show is like a parody of ‘The Bachelor.’ There are three leading ladies, and 12 guys are ‘nice guys’ that are there for love, while the other 12 are there to play them and to win some cash. The publicity has gone really well with this one, it has gone nationwide here in Australia, so there has been a lot of talk about it.”

“My social media has been growing, and that’s where I want to take it,” he said. “I want to be a public figure that is similar to Will Parfitt. It is all getting bigger, and it is all growing.”

‘Heartbreak Island’

He discussed being a part of “Heartbreak Island.” “It was amazing,” he exclaimed. “It really was, especially because that one was filmed in Fiji. It’s a parody between ‘Love Island’ and ‘Survivor.’ I am striving to entertain as much as I can, and bring joy to people.”

The digital age

On being a part of the digital age, Wepener said, “I love it. My goal in life is to be a public figure but, in a way, to make people laugh and to put a smile on their faces. The fact that I am starting to do that now is really exciting.”

Stage of his life

On the title of the current chapter of his life, he said, “See the face, remember the name.”

‘Magic Men Australia’ Tour

While he was not a part of the “Magic Men Australia” Canadian tour, because he was filming the reality TV show “FBoy Island Australia,” he shared that he is looking forward to another international tour with Magic Men Australia, where he hopes to visit such places as the United States, Canada, and Europe. “At the end of the year, I hope to go back to New Zealand,” he said. “Magic Men Australia has been going awesome, we are away every single week.”

Favorite mottos to live by

On his favorite mottos to live by, he said, “Be phenomenal or be forgotten.” “I love that one,” he admitted. “That has been my mantra since I was 12 years old.”

Success

“Success to me has always been about happiness, and it still is about happiness,” he said. “Right now, I have a lot of bigger goals such as saving up for a house, and trying to get all those big tick boxes done. I still love what I do, and I am still making sure that I am happy and fulfilled with what I choose to do. I am still striving for my goals nonetheless because I feel like I am succeeding. I still love working every week, and now I have bigger goals to chase.”
