Reality TV star Josh Seiter is making waves in the dancing world with a shocking announcement. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.
Seiter is now dating a fellow exotic dancer 22-year-old David, who is from New York and majoring in political science at UIC in Chicago. Seiter and David dance together in the popular touring male revue, America’s Loverboys.
On dating David, he said, “It feels great. Right now we are just going with the flow. We both like to live in the moment so this is really my first relationship where I’m not in my head much. It’s a liberating feeling.”
Seiter skyrocketed to stardom this past year given a string of high-profile relationships with women on television.
This is the first intra-workforce relationship among male exotic dancers to ever be announced. Prior to Seiter’s announcement, no other male exotic dancer has ever come out as pansexual. He is the first male exotic dancer to announce he is dating a fellow dancer. He is the only male exotic dancer to star on The Bachelorette. He is one of the top grossing earners in the world, now ranking among the top eight percent of all content creators. “I’ve always been attracted to people regardless of gender. I’m more of a spiritual person. Being pansexual allows me to stay true to that and be open to attractions that transcend anyone’s gender or sexuality,” he explained.
Besides Channing Tatum, he is one of the only male exotic dancer to consistently make national headlines, and besides Channing Tatum, he is one of the only male exotic dancers covered by the national media. “Comparisons to Channing Tatum are always humbling. Being one of the more visible dancers in the male revue world, I guess its an unavoidable comparison. However, I know my higher profile can result in a lot of drama and unnecessary jealousy if I’m not careful, so I’m always conscious of staying humble and following a healthy routine each day. It’s easy to fall prey to temptations or to grow arrogant in this industry, and I don’t want to be one of those people. My longevity comes from—and depends on—being grounded. So I have a lot of healthy habits I follow each day,” he said.
He currently headlines The “America’s Loverboys” National Tour, and tickets to see him in person are available on Eventbrite.
Seiter revealed that he is spending this Memorial Day weekend in St. George, Utah, with David and his family. “I’m looking forward to hiking in Snow Canyon and taking in the tranquil landscape,” he said.
