Great American Family has a major reason to celebrate. It is the fastest-growing network for the second consecutive quarter of the year. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.
The network ranked No. 1 in the first quarter of the year for “Total Day Ratings Growth in Households and Total Viewers,” as well as No. 1 in “Primetime Ratings Growth in Households and Viewers.” It is the new leader in original Christmas movies, seasonal rom-coms and family-friendly series.
The increase in audience marks the second consecutive quarter in which Great American Family was TV’s fastest-growing network. Great American Family’s success comes amid overall declines among general entertainment networks.
In first quarter 2023, Great American Family premiered eight original movies, including “Fall Into Winter” starring Lori Loughlin in her long-awaited return to romantic comedies, along with popular specials “Great American Rescue Bowl” hosted by Beth Stern and “To The Rescue Pup-A-Thon” with Tommy Habeeb.
The network is also home to classic fan-favorite series, including “Columbo,” “Little House on the Prairie” and “Murder, She Wrote,” which stars the late Angela Lansbury.
Great American Family is America’s destination for quality family-friendly programming, including original holiday movies, rom-coms and fan-favorite series that celebrate faith, family and country. It is home to year-round seasonal celebrations including Great American Christmas, the network’s signature franchise featuring holiday themed movies and specials.
